Season to Taste

Occasionally, I try to locate a recipe that is plain and simple.  You know the type that I’m talking about. I’m searching for a recipe that calls for something that is already in your pantry or in your refrigerator and requires no effort on your part to prepare.  The following recipe is a no brain-er.
Not Rocket Science Hamburger Steaks
1 to 1and1/2 pounds ground round
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, finely diced
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/8 to 1/4 tsp ground Mexican oregano
1 can whole green chilies
Salt and Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients (minus green chilies) and form into patties.  Place in a baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.  Slice the chilies open.  Remove the patties from the oven and lay the chilies on top of each patty.  Return the meat to the oven and continue to bake until the ground round in no longer pink or approx 10 more minutes.
