Girl, 11, elbows, foils abductor’s attempts to kidnap her

An 11-year-old girl from Skiatook picked Rick Allen Blakwell, 56, of Skiatook, out of a photo line up after he allegedly tried to kidnap her June 2. He has been charged with attempted kidnapping, which is a felony, along with public intoxication and obstructing an officer. Blackwell reportedly approached the young girl on bicycle near Second and Broadway in Skiatook and repeatedly asked her to race him on her bike to his house, according to the affidavit and indecent report.
