Osage constitution amendments fail for lack of supermajority

All four of the Osage Nation constitutional amendments failed Monday, according to the Election Board website. Although they had more ‘yes’ votes than ‘no’, constitutional amendments require a 65 percent majority vote to pass. One amendment failed by less than four percent.

ONCR 10-19:  911 Y (61.72%) – 565 N (38.28%)

ONCR 11-12: 803 Y (54.55%) – 669 N (45.45%)

ONCR 11-13: 815 Y (55.18%) – 662 N (44.82%)

ONCR 11-14: 831 Y (56.22%) – 647 N (43.78%)
