Susan D. Lewis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Susan was born on December 11, 1952 in Pawhuska, OK to Leroy and Nellie Frew. While growing up in Pawhuska, she met the love of her life, Charles Lewis, at age 13. The two were inseparable, and on October 16, 1969 they were married. Susan and Charles moved to Bartlesville in 1977 and raised three children together. While the children attended school in Bartlesville, she worked from home helping Charles operate Road Runner Construction Company. She loved being deeply involved with her children and their friends as they grew up together, always attending school and sporting events. After the children were grown, Susan went to work at Phillips Petroleum Company. Susan enjoyed her family and friends most in life, and she always helped everyone as much as she could. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be deeply missed, but we know that in every ray of sunshine, every drop of rain, and every gust of wind, she is with us, always. We love you.
