Close call for Tigers at Regional Tournament

 

The Shidler Tigers flirted with entering the state championship tournament after making it to the Class B Regional Championship game in Oilton Friday. “Heck of a year,” Tiger Michael Stevens (8) said after their final game, ending their season, 22-4. The Tigers, who entered the tournament with a 20-2 record, started off with a narrow, 2-1, win against Oilton, only to turn around and take a deep, 10-0, loss to Moss in their second game. The Tigers battled their way back into the tournament to face the Moss
