Drummond Ranch Champions

The cowboys of Drummond Land and Cattle earned a trip to the World Championship Ranch Rodeo in Amarillo by winning the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association Range Round-up for a whopping sixth time.

The team, made up of Ladd Drummond, Chris Potter, Tim Drummond, Josh Sellers and Tim Kill, eked out the narrow win in the wild cow milking and team branding events, in which they placed first. Ladd Drummond was also honored as Tough  Hand at the road, and Potter was Top Hand.

The Drummond ranch competed against 16 other ranches for the title, and will travel to the world event in November.

The OCA Round-up is a benefit for the Children’s Miracle Network and has raised $405,000 for the charity in the past 14 years. This year, the rodeo brought record-breaking crowds to Oklahoma City.
